Jammu, February 26, 2014
In a significant move, Socialistic Democratic Party (SDP) parliamentary candidate for Jammu-Poonch Constituency Sardar Gursagar Singh Isher Wednesday launched first of its kind training-cum-employment programme at RS Pura, here for the educated and capable youth.
Giving vent to his political promises, Sardar Gursagar Singh Isher has taken an initiative of inducting educated youth in his business to mitigate horrendous problem of unemployment.
Vindicating prime agenda of the party of providing employment opportunities to the educated youth, Sardar Gursagar Singh Isher initiated a new party programme seeking to connect it with the youth and address their issue of unemployment.
Today in a formal function at RS Pura, SDP Parliamentary candidate inaugurated an outlet named ‘Ansh’ comprised of full range of Gtech batteries, full range of Frugal lubricants, engine oil, stabilizers, Inverters, coolants, gear oils among other products for providing  livelihood to the educated youth of RS Pura.
Speaking on the sidelines of the inaugural function, Sardar Gursagar Singh Isher said that SDP is looking forward to establish same kind of outlets in every district of the state.
“This is an initiative to rope unemployed youth in a livelihood earning scheme. We envisage every district of the state to have such outlets, but for a start we have kept remote and hilly areas as our prime focus,” said Sardar Gursagar Singh Isher, adding that soon such outlets will be opened in Poonch, Rajouri, Noushera, Mendhar, Bari-Brahamana, Bishnah and other remote and hilly areas. “Eventually, we will start same scheme in cities and towns,” said Sardar Gursagar Singh Isher.
He said that according to this programme, SDP will establish outlets in every district and give educated youth a chance to discern his/her capabilities. “We provide material as well as financial support to outlets in every district. The youth will earn according to his/her caliber and potential by the sale of the products,” said Gursagar.
SDP parliamentary candidate said that this is historical event in itself, as no political party or politician in J&K state had ever thought of extending employment to the youth from their personal business.”
He said that because of government’s failure to provide employment, SDP has taken this initiative to make youth eligible to earn livelihood from private sector. “We have kept it our prime agenda to bring industrialization in the state of J&K for employing more and more youth in skillful employment,” assured Gursagar Singh Isher.
