Empowering women, youth and farmers prime agenda of SDP: Sardar Gursagar Singh Isher




More than 150 people join SDP at RS Pura

Reaching out to the rural population, as a part of its membership recruitment campaign, Socialistic Democratic Party (SDP) under the able supervision of SDP Parliamentary candidate for Jammu-Poonch Constituency, Sardar Gursagar Singh Isher today in an impressive function welcomed over 150 prominent citizens, including women and youth of Mill area, Patri RS Pura here into the party fold.
Appreciating the decision of the people, Sardar Gursagar Singh Isher said that people have shown faith in SDP time and again. “We are striving to bring change in the rotten politics of the state,” he said adding SDP is working for the upliftment of the poor and under privileged, besides “our stress is on rural areas.”
Sardar Gursagar Singh Isher said, “In rural areas we (SDP) are working for raising the standard of agriculturalists, wherein various provisions concerning farmers are included in manifesto of SDP. We have also entailed various schemes for rural youth, especially girls for making them self-reliant,” shared Sardar Gursagar Singh Isher.
Those who joined the party included Ricky Singh, Sonu, Satti, Amarnath, Satbeer Singh, Sham Lal, Ashok Kumar, Baldev Singh, Surinder Kumar, Vijay Kumar, Rajesh, Simran Kaur, Kamleen Kour, Chanderkanta, Ravinder Kour, Gurvinder Kour, Charanjeet Kour, Sheetal, Gurmeet Kour, Rainu, Gudiya and others.
The function was organized by Ravinder Singh Prince, who had earlier joined SDP under the influence of Sardar Gursagar Singh Isher.
Sardar Gursagar Singh Isher further congratulated the new entrants and advised them to work for the upliftment of the under privileged and downtrodden.

It is pertinent to mention here that Sardar Gursagar Singh Isher has vowed to induct 50, 000 members into the party fold and for that purpose party workers are stretching membership drives across the Jammu province.
